Don't judge a book by its cover! Very welcoming atmosphere and despite what others said, some of the freshest food on the strip. I had the Alamo burger with sweet potato fries and it was awesome. Our four year old daughter joined us as well. This is not your average children friendly restaurant, keep an open mind! We sat out back on the patio and enjoyed the afternoon breeze. We will definitely be back!

Cool little dive! Had a few beers there didn't eat anything. The beer was cold and pretty cheep. Seemed like a local dive but the wait staff was friendly and helpful. Had board games sitting around to play with, thought that was a cool idea.

Our sixth visit to Folly Beach and we only just found this gem! In our group of six, four of us had burgers. They were very good! On this night, we ate outside and, unfortunately, the music was Inside! That's the one thing that would have really added to our experience! We had a great server and were glad we added this to our stops this year!

PLEASE read this entire review to understand why I give it 5 stars, first of all it's a 5 star DIVE BAR and you MUST be in the mood for that. This is also half bar and half restaurant with rickity chairs and sticky tables and they do still smoke in here so be aware of that. Now with all of that said this place is great, the breakfast on the weekends is awesome and they have THE BEST Biscuits n Gravy on Folly. The Burgers are awesome, the service is surly and the beer is luke warm but cheap. Atmosphere is dive and dumpy and they have great rock cover bands on the weekends. The place is truly authentic. If you are looking for a place that is a clean cut family restaurant this aint it but if you make your kids carry the beer cooler to the beach for ya then this is right up your ally

It was ok, but not great for the price. The food tasted frozen, but came out looking ok. More of a bar than a restaurant. The wait staff was nice and friendly, but the food took 30 mins to come out. Not a great family restaurant, more of townie hangout.

Free spaghetti Monday ! What kind of genius would think of such a thing ? A plate of spaghetti AND a slice of garlic bread starting at 7:30 sharp. First come first serve and they will run out but even if there's none left the beers are cold and the place is inviting to sit around for a while.

What can you say this is bar food. Hubby had fish and chips I had a mushroom burger. It was okay not amazing. Fried pickles were very good. I had my heart set on hotdogs from the reviews but they had no buns that day...sad face. Cheap food. Galaga machine played for hours. Hubby and I had flashbacks of childhoods spent in smoky bars...people can smoke inside we were shocked. ..we quit last year wish we had known back then.hahaha... It is just a dive bar but very retro.

This is a little hole-in-the-wall kind of bar/restaurant with really great food and an extensive menu - with lots of options for anyone in your party. The nacho chips were truly delicious and we got them with chicken, cheese and the works. We had a mix of burgers, philly cheesesteaks - and I had the chicken blue cheese sandwich which was really good. We went for lunch and it's a great option.

This place is definitely a dive bar that just happens to have some pretty darn good food. If you can get past the smoke and the drunk rednecks making out then your doing okay. Just down a few beers and it will help you through it! The fried okra is what I started out with. It is one of my all-time favorite things in the world. It rocked! We also had Allie's Hot dog basket which was good. In the basket there were 2 nathan's brand all beef hot dogs which are my favorite and french fries. You can choose what you want on your hot dog. A friend of mine got the same thing but he got onion rings instead which were also good. I also got to try the Crabbie Patty. It was okay. I would not order it again though. This place was exactly what I was looking for on that certain day. I would definitely go back. You should give this place a shot! Enjoy and Cheers!

Good food, slow service. Took 15 min for the waitress to come to our table. Then she said she was taking care of all her "locals". Took 10 min to get our drinks, food was great-burgers are huge & delicious. Then took over 35 min to get the waitress attention to get our bill. Had to walk up to the bar to ask for it (after being overlooked many times). At one point, I had to wave my arms in the air to try to get waitress attention which then the locals started laughing bc waitress was skipping over us & catering to her locals instead. Won't be coming back here. They need to hire more help. Poor waitress was bartending & waitressing while a cook was standing around watching her run everywhere.

One-word (made up but still accurate) Divetastic!!!!! Greasy, delicious food, characters and weirdoes aplenty, cheap booze and great bands. Awesome!,

My wife and I stopped in for lunch when we were in Folly for our Honeymoon. We sat at the bar and talked with a lady (I think she was the owner). She was very nice. I ordered a chili burger. The food was really good. Don't be turned off by the appearance. The food is worth it! If I ever find myself back in Folly I will definitely stop at Follywood again.

Great dive. Dont let the name or looks fool you. This place makes a killer burger. I split a southern classic wit the girlfriend and it was one of the best burgers i have ever had. I ordered it medium and the bartender/waiter replied, "just so you know our medium is very pink on the inside." Awesome. Out comes a huge burger with chili, coleslaw and cheese oozing down the sides. What a combination. Very impressed. Not expensive either considering small tacos across the street cost $3 plus. I ate there 3 days the week i was there. Only bad part is i live over 1000 miles away.

True Dive. Sit outside if you don't like cig smoke. Most tenderlicious burger I've ever had. Really good. Perfect beer battered onion rings. Don't pass it up if you are in the mood for a burger!

Still the best hot dog on Folly!! Burgers are great also. Service usually takes some time, so don't come in a rush. One of my favorite lunch spots on Folly.
